Philbrooks is da bomb!

After the davit cable snapped just as we entered Alaska on our way north, we had to tow the tender the entire way since. Having tried everywhere, at every stop to find a mechanic who could repair the davit, I finally called Philbrooks in Sydney and got a slot booked for our southern return.

The team there was awesome. Within a total of four days, they repaired the davit, performed the needed regular engine and genset service, and squeezed in an unplanned repairing of bow damage that I was surprised to find from the anchor.

By far, the Philbrook’s experience was the best marine service center experience that I’ve ever had. With our RIB back up on deck, and freshly serviced engines, we headed out right on schedule for a late afternoon re-entry to the USA.
